The Soldier’s Tale by Stravinsky – A critical edition by David Valdés

Critical edition based on the 1918 sketches and manuscript kept by the Rychenberg Stiftung and the Paul Sacher Stiftung. 82 pages containing never-published-before information (instruments, setup, sticks and mallets, techniques, stickings, etc.).

Contains many diagrams and historical photos. It corrects the mistakes and errors perpetuated by the 1924 edition (JWC44).

This edition has been presented at PASIC 2022.
