5 Korean Songs is my third set of songs for voice and percussion quartet, and was written in 2013. The poems range in subject matter from meditations on nature to passionate declarations of love. A male or female voice may be used. The instruments featured include all the tuned percussion family as well as numerous gongs and small bells. The duration is 15 minutes.
