Two Little Dickie Birds by Colin Shaw

Two Little Dickie Birds is a beginner level piece for 5 players based on the traditional childrens’ verse of the same name.
The piece has been written to introduce students to ensemble playing, and they are encouraged to listen out for the solo/duet versions of the rhythm.

There is also scope for teaching dynamics, especially from D to the triumphant vocalised ‘Hoi’ at the end!
