Materials & Craftsmanship

Each of the 14 bars is made from TreeWorks’ custom aluminum/titanium alloy. These bars are heat-treated and hand-polished to deliver a clear, resonant tone. Instead of using plastic, TreeWorks suspends the bars with CordLoc™—a strong, braided fiber that allows each bar to vibrate freely and last longer.

The wooden mantle is handcrafted from kiln-dried Tennessee hardwood, available in either black walnut or white ash. Finished with natural oils, the mantle enhances both sound and appearance. Every piece is made in Nashville, USA, with great attention to detail.

Performance & Use

Though compact, the TRE417 produces a clean, bright chime sound that cuts through gently and fades naturally. It’s perfect for use in live performances, recording sessions, classrooms, or meditative spaces. The chime is easy to mount using a standard cymbal stand, thanks to the 7/16″ hole in the mantle. It can also be paired with TreeWorks’ optional TRE52 mount.
