The S-Dance by Ivana Bilic

The theme of the piece is a dance that comes from the little island of my ancestors – Silba. But my main inspiration is the curvy and sensual letter S and the different variations of dancing and rhythm that we find in different cultures. I like to use quotations and mix styles. The piece should project the joy of movement, rhythm and sound imminent to percussion.
