This revolutionary snare drum method is developed to familiarize the percussion student with playing together and to be able to listen and react to other (percussion) instruments right from the start.

With the enclosed accompaniment-CD the student immediately gets the feeling he is playing in a drum line or percussion ensemble. This makes practising at home more fun and the student gets used to the sound of other percussion sounds around him, which will make it easier to play in an (percussion) ensemble.

The CD tracks provide accompaniment for all the etudes in the book. Beside these accompaniment tracks the CD also contains some Groove Tracks. These tracks are meant to be used with the other exercises in the book.

When you dial the balance of your stereo system to the right it’s possible to exclude the snare drum part. When you use this option the students gets the feeling he is the snare drummer in the drum line or percussion ensemble!

Besides the method book there are books with Recital Pieces available for Snare Drum and Multi Toms. The books are written as an addition to the Snare Drum Basics Method book, but are also usable in combination with other method books. The books with Recital Pieces are also coming with a CD with accompaniment tracks.
