Red Storm was written for de drumline of Drum- and Showband Deltaband in Vlissingen (NL), usually the drumline is part of the Show- & Marchingband (together with Brass and Woodwind instruments) but for their own challenge the drumline wanted to participate in a contest. For the marching part of this contest Red Storm was written and became the music to play. Red Storm is a short drumline-march with Swiss influences. The Dutch touch would be the addition of the active bassdrumpart and the funky cymbals. The snaredrumrolls are most important and together with the powerful dynamics it makes it a groovy and funky march to play. Enjoy!
