Playwood TF-23 Flannel Series Timpani mallets

A mallet with a head layered with flannel fabric (cotton/German type, wool/Vienna type) and the tip pressed with a screw.
With a clear attack, you can create rhythmic cuts and create a rich sound even when playing rolls.
This is a different type of mallet from traditional felt mallets.

Model TF-23 has an Australian loden flannel core, black acetal socket and hickory handle.
