Octavius by Andrew Thomson

Octavius is a highly technical solo that explores the octave interval (hence the name) and is suitable for the advanced high school or college marimbist. A slow chorale in the middle gives both the audience and performer a rest from repetitions of flashy runs and ripple permutations; a great ending for any recital.
