‘This book is a comprehensive series of lessons that includes the entire circle of keys. Although on the face of it these lessons seem simple, they work miracles toward the progress of the student and they are tuneful and interesting studies. It is possible that the teacher might not agree with all of the Green’s stickings and make changes appropriate to their own way of thinking. Sticking changes are certainly permissible and are often necessary to fit the needs of the individual. I personally find it necessary to sometimes change stickings but, minor changes in sticking should not cloud the fact that this book produces dramatic results. ‘
