Description

Composed between 1996 and 1998 Nemesis is a three movement work. It is written in a contemporary classical style with jazz and latin influences. There is a short improvised section in part two, with an alternative notated ‘solo’. Nemesis was originally composed for soprano saxophone and vibraphone and recorded by Rob Buckland and Simone Rebello on the CD  "Towards the Light", Andy Scott completed this version of Nemesis for flute and vibraphone in 2003.
