Description
Commissioned by the FIM Flint School of Performing Arts in Memory of Delaina Oberman, Multiple Musings is a collection of five graduated solos for the developing multi-percussionist, ranging from medium easy to medium advanced. Each piece features its own distinct style influenced by elements/traits that made Delaina unique. The aim was to keep each set-up fairly compact while still creating engaging textures.

1. Cool Blue: snare drum, 2 toms, suspended cymbal
2. A Heart of Gold: triangle, suspended & ride cymbals, glockenspiel
3. What’s in a Name?: snare drum, 3 concert toms, temple blocks
4. A Keen Eye for Tie-Dye: bongos, 2 woodblocks, cowbell, mounted tambourine
5. Exclamation!: multi-bass , 4 toms, bongos, splash & China, woodblock, cowbell
