May Peace Prevail by Robert Oetomo

Composed in 2022, May Peace Prevail is a work for solo marimba expressing the desire for peace on earth. With the various heart-wrenching and dire situations that humanity is currently facing today, for example the pandemic of COVID-19 and the war that’s currently happening in the midst of our world, I hope that the simple, warm and mellow melody that this work presents may bring peace and positivity in peoples lives around different parts of the world. After all, music is the only universal language in the world.
