Description

Liaoning is a province of north-east China commonly known as ‘the golden triangle’ because of its location between the Yellow Sea, the gulf of Bohai and the Yalu River. The piece was originally conceived for traditional Chinese instruments, those enormous red drums announcing the celebrations during which the Chinese like to express their happiness by beating drums of all sizes.
