Description
The Innovative Percussion Clayton Cameron Signature Wire Brush, designed in conjunction with world-renowned drummer and brush master Clayton Cameron, is a medium gauge, fixed wire bush on a solid handle, which creates a feel much like a drumstick in the hand. The brush wires are firm enough to produce an articulate timbre when playing with the edge, yet flexible enough to dig into the drum for a full-bodied sound. The butt end includes a playable nylon ‘stroke cap,’ finished with a metal zinger edge.

As a long time player of Clayton Cameron Brushes which were made by the defunct Regal Tip company, I was delighted to see be able to buy these newly launched updated pair. Inevitably I compared these to the old familiar model and I have to say that they are definitely equal and probably better than the RT version. They seem to be better made and the annoying sharp edge where the hard handle part met the rubber part which had to be taped off is now gone and it seems that the wires are a marginally heavier guage and the brushes feel more responsive and “bouncy” with out being overly stiff. They come well packaged in a clear plastic tube and the price is very fair. Altogether, very pleased and delighted to have access to this model again – well done Innovative Percussion!
