Housetop Variations by Tom Morgan

As the name implies, Housetop Variations is based on the Christmas standard, Up On The Housetop. Beginning with a soft, music-box effect, the melody goes through several variations, concluding with a march version that moves to an exciting climax. Written for The Washburn University Percussion Ensemble, this work is playable by most high school and college level groups.
