HEAVY BINARY is comprised of four movements influenced by different genres of heavy metal music. The “binary” aspect refers to the use of contrasting striking implements in each movement, including open hand, drumstick, nylon brush, wire brush, crotale, finger cymbal, and timpani mallet.
