31mm semi oval hornwood on rattan.
Made from an extremely hard and expensive type of imported Hornwood™. Hornwood will outlast any rosewood mallets you may have and even lignum vitae. Almost identical in sound to rosewood mallets with the same unique warm and woody characteristic. This material is very difficult to get but worth the trouble and cost.
