Natural rubber tan ball.
The Freer KXSR Extra Soft Tan Rubber Mallets are softer than green rubber and brown KSR models, making it an excellent on-stage warm up mallet that only you will hear. Perfect for daily practice as well, not too bouncy on the bars and no contact sound at all. Excellent for certain orchestral marimba repertoire in low register.
For people taking auditions this is a necessity. Warm up in your hotel room or in a warm up room on marimba, xylophone, glockenspiel or vibes in complete privacy. Will not dent or damage bars. Now you have 4 excellent gradations of rubber mallets to choose from.
