Entanglement by Cody Criswell

Entanglement is a very rhythmic piece in three movements that incorporates percussion instruments of indefinite pitch with the marimba and vibraphone. The piece contains a series of stacked and fragmented motivic ideas, which are constantly recurring in new forms. The piece is pulse driven from beginning to end, which, in addition to the rich harmonic design and unique instrumentation, gives the piece its character.
