Synthetic Head
Utilizing a Remo Renaissance head, our SoundArt Synthetic Head tambourines provide exceptional feel, tone and response, matching or exceeding the similar qualities of calf. Resisting annoying fluctuations in humidity typically disastrous for calf heads, the Remo Renaissance head effortlessly maintains the consistency of head tension, and quality of sound, for the lifespan of the tambourine.
Solid Cherry Shell
The body of our SoundArt S3 Series tambourine is manufactured with a steam bent, solid cherry shell. Lighter than our traditional solid ash shells, cherry shells are more manueverable, with less projection for a subtle voice. The single row of jingles produces a less intense sound for more delicate passages. The lighter weight and shorter depth also accomodates smaller hands or younger players.
Aged Brass Jingles
All S3 SoundArt Series tambourines are custom fit with unique, aged brass jingles for a sensitive, yet full texture.
