Andante by Fernando Carulli

An excellent first four mallet contest solo with lots of musical depth, this piece is transcribed for marimba from the original classical guitar composition. Written in a classic ABA form, the mood and tonality shifts from minor (A section) to major (B section) and back to minor on the DaCapo return of the A section.
