Almost Blue by David Friedman is a groovy work for solo vibraphone.

Born out of an improvised pieced based around an F-major ostinato, this piece feels free and open – almost like it’s your own improvisation.

Wonderful for a recital or any other kind of solo performance, Almost Blue is appropriate for intermediate and advanced players with a good sense of rhythm and strong four-mallet technique.
