Description

Aftershock was originally written for concert tom trio under the title Tremors in the collection “Triology.” It has been expanded here for full percussion ensemble, including keyboard instruments, which gives the pieces even more depth. Inspired by the powerful, natural phenomenon of earthquakes, this fast-paced work quickly transitions from a faint rumble to a deafening roar. With flexibility at its core, you may perform Aftershock as a battery (”drummy”) piece or as a full percussion ensemble with a full complement of keyboard instruments.
