The new barrel headed brass beater is another excellent new addition to our triangle beater line up. The brass barrel head is 11 mm in diameter- a unique size and shape to anything else on the market. They speak instantly on any triangle and are capable of a very wide dynamic range. Moreover, the feel is enhanced by the length 11.5 in. of the carbon fiber shafts because they are longer than any other Freer Percussion triangle beaters. All of this required some thinking outside the box that turned out to be very worthwhile. Most of us feel like we have plenty of triangle beaters in our bags sure\u2026but in my experiences in the Cleveland Orchestra it has become obvious that other options are necessary as long as they are substantially unique and serve a musical purpose.
