‘The instrument, Marimba, is made of wood, but as for me, I have been holding an image of the water on the sounds of this instrument, nemele, such as ‘a sound of water drop in a big cave’ and ‘a sound of wave hearing in the sea’ which are the living water-voice. In the same time, I could hear the water-voice, also, in the piano which is accompanying an aura of the overtone. Encounter with two instruments, and the water-sound’s intercourse as the origin of life, these elements were the basic thoughts to put the title of this piece.
This piece was written on commission of Maestro Hiroyuki Iwaki, and was dedicated to him”
