The Singularity Myth is for more advanced percussionists, this piece focuses on the various voicings of extended tertian harmonies such as ninth, eleventh, and thirteenth chords, as well as quartal and quintal harmonies. The variations in chord voicings range from m2 and M2 clusters, to open voiced chords with intervals reaching M9 and m10. There are two sections in the piece where rolls are incorporated for textural contrast, but approximately five of the seven and a half minutes of the piece employ double lateral combinations to arpeggiate the chords.
