1976. Exclusively for two mallet marimba. Moderately difficult to difficult, including the popular Basically Broke Blues. These etudes came as a result of my rediscovering two mallet playing. I had been so consumed with writing for four mallet marimba that I almost forgot about playing with two mallets. So these pieces provided me with a way to return to my roots as a player.
