Designed to simulate a rainstorm, “Rainfall” employs a variety of nontraditional techniques in order to reproduce certain timbres, such as finger snaps or leg-patting. Audience participation is also encouraged to enhance the effect in this slightly minimalistic work for young percussion ensemble.
