Nocturne by Andrew Thomson

Written in memoriam for a friend and fellow service member who passed too early, Nocturne was premiered in a nearly pitch black space, alluding to the nature of a “nocturne.” While this is not a requirement for all performances, a dimly lit stage, etc. lends itself to the nature of the music.
