The sound has the delicacy both in the studio and live, with and without mics. By opening and closing the back port it is possible to alter the sound and response to whatever you are looking for. Features both Leiva’s Direct Tuning System and Bass-Studio System that expands low end sounds directly to the floor.

Based near Cordoba in Moorish Spain, Pepe Leiva produces instruments for the traditional Spanish Cajon market as well as for the Celtic and Rock/Blues/Country music-influenced Western players.
