Sisters Jessica and Vanessa Porter gave their percussion duo debut in 2009 during the renowned national youth competition “Jugend musiziert”.

Their partnership was so successful that they decided this was to be the way forward and launched themselves as a professional duo.

The sisters moved together to Stuttgart were Vanessa is currently studying for her bachelor degree at the Conservatory with Professor Marta Klimasara, Professor Klaus Dreher, Professor Jürgen Spitschka and Professor Harald Löhle.

Jessica finished her master’s degree in the summer of 2015.

The duo regularly perform at high proflie festivals such as: Schleswig Holstein Music Festival, Young Euro Classics and Stars of Tomorrow and they have toured extensively in Europe as well as Asia.

Jessica and Vanessa are scholarship holders of the “Bruno-Frey-Foundation” and the “Karl Jegg Foundation”.

At the Italy Percussive Arts Society​ Days of Percussion 2016 the duo performed the opening concert and met Southern Percussion and decided to cooperate with the company as Partners in Percussion!
