André Nadais is a percussionist from Portugal, born in 1997. At the age of 9 he began his percussion studies at the Music Conservatory of Jobra. In 2012, he was admitted on the Professional Course specialized in percussion at the same school. In 2015 he moved to England to do his Undergraduate at the Royal Northern College of Music where he won an ABRSM Scholarship. After his undergraduate, he was admitted to the prestigious International Artist Diploma at the Royal Northern College of Music.

He has worked with names as Keiko Abe, Katarzyna Mycka, Pedro Carneiro, Jeffery Davis, Pedro Fernandes, Christian Dierstein, Miquel Bernat, Kai Stensgaard, Peter Vulperhorst, Ignacio Ceballos Martin, Bernhard Wulff, Carlos Willems, David Friedman, Casey Cangelosi, Chin Cheng Lin, Bogdan Bacanu and the Wave Quartet, Marta Klimasara, Joby Burgess, Colin Currie, Simone Rebello, Leo Le Yu, Joe Locke, Ney Rosauro, among others.

In solo competitions he was awarded in 2010 with the First Prize at the Contest Tumpa-Tumpa, in 2011 with the First Prize at the Contest Hall Premium, in 2014 with the First Prize at the Tomarimbando International Marimba Competition, in 2015 the First Prize at the RNCM Southern Percussion Competition and in 2016 the Second Prize at the Southern Percussion Young Tuned Percussionist of the Year, the First Prize at the RNCM Concerto Competition and a Yamaha Scholarship.

He is also member of the 2€DUO together with Pedro Tavares that is a percussion duo resident in Portugal. This dynamic duo has won in 2015 the Second Prize with Distinction at the Gilberta Paiva Chamber Music Competition and the First Prize at the Portuguese Young Musician of the Year.
