1st Tewkesbury Boys Brigade has been established for nearly 60 years and is part of a worldwide movement started in 1883 – making us the oldest uniformed youth organization in the UK. There are over 1,500 BB Companies in the UK, with around 70,000 boys and staff as members. Boys’ Brigade caters from members from the age of 5 – 19, split into 4 groups, Anchors for 5 – 8 yrs, Juniors for 8 – 11yrs, Company and Senior for ages 11 – 19.

Activities include everything from camping to kayaking, football to ten pin bowling, drill and parades and a wide ranging calendar of competitions and events. Famous former members include Sir Alex Ferguson (who is still a Vice President today) Joe Cole, Jonathon Ross and many many others.
